Updated Zune Scam: AIM: MarkeeZero, Email: [email protected]

Hey everyone! I was scammed sadly /u/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I traded my Microsoft Zune 30gb to someone and the account I traded for was recalled. Shortly after the guy was real nice and said he would send me back the Zune. This is after he said he would get me a Burning Crusade key. None of this happened, in which he kept my Zune. His AIM and email are in the subject. Here is a copy of his response letter: Dear Nick, Yes this is unfortunate. I gave you a W.O.W. account and a steam account for the Zune, and when you said that the W.O.W. account was recalled I was nice enough to give you another one! Now, I have a hard time believing that both of these accounts were recalled…But even if they were that's the risk everyone takes when they trade or buy accounts… you were very aware of this when you traded the Zune for these accounts… I cannot and will not be responsible for this. Yes, it is too bad and I'm sorry but that's the risk that you were willing to take and you took it. Now, about the serial number for the Zune…. The serial number is registered through Microsoft under my name and so is the warranty so there's nothing that can be done about that… And last but not least the lawyer thing… I have spoken with both the owner of Markee dragon and a GM at Blizzard and both have told me that you can't "sue" anyone because of an account being recalled after you either pay for it or trade for it… Reason being is it's against Blizzards policy's to do this… Therefore you cannot get up in court and say that you traded an account and when it got recalled you wanted back whatever you paid for it because that would mean you were admitting to breaking blizzards policy and therefore could be sued by them… Maybe in the future you will weigh the risk and benefits of doing something a little better… Again all of this is unfortunate, but those are the risks… Arron
