Yesterday I found some time to set up my account for him to look at (I figured it was safe since he has good feedback here, and I have none - so I figured I would let him look first). I gave him my login and password, and he checked it out while on aim, and said he was having fun and was most likely going to buy it. He had to run out, as did I, so we decided to meet back online at 8 PM PST. At around 6 PM, I got an email on my phone saying: Blizzard Entertainment to (his name) show details 6:02 PM (18 hours ago) Reply Hello xxxxx (his name), This e-mail notification is to inform you that the World of Warcraft account, xxxxxx, has just been merged into a Battle.net account. If you were not the person who performed this account merge, please contact Battle.net Supportimmediately. You have successfully merged the following World of Warcraft account: xxxxxxx into the following Battle.net account: xxxxxxxxxx (his battle.net acct, I didn't even know about it!) From now on, you must use the above Battle.net account name and its password to play World of Warcraft and to access World of Warcraft Account Management for billing and subscription services. There is a small chance that he is an idiot and decided to test it out a bit more, but we hadn't finalized on a price and I had in no way consented to him taking over my account. I waited last night for him to log on, and a good while today. I sent him an email, and had not heard back. Thankfully, all it took was a quick call to blizzard to get my account back in my hands, and he hadn't done anything but respecced and played a bit on the account. Still haven't heard from him, but that kind of practice is just unethical and stupid. You don't take over someones account without paying for it first.
